Installing it properly
- Apply to clean, intact paint. Not over an open scratch and not on flaking paint. Clean it and dry it completely.
- Don't apply to a hot car in the sun. Work in the shade, on a cool surface. Adhesive that grabs hot metal will not hold.
- No washing for 24 hours. The adhesive reaches full grip after a day. After that, a car wash is fine.
- To remove: heat it and pull slowly. Hair dryer on medium for 40 seconds, pull at a low angle, and take off residue with isopropyl alcohol. No blades, no acetone.

No. And that is exactly the point. You have no control over the other car. ParkShell puts a layer over the points that get hit, so scuffs, rubbing and light contact reach it before they reach your paint.

Not if you remove it correctly. Heat it with a hair dryer on medium for about 40 seconds, pull slowly at a low angle, and take off any adhesive residue with isopropyl alcohol on a microfiber cloth. No razor blades, no acetone, no paint thinner. Wax the area afterward.
